I am here for myself, not for 'youtubers' or 'social media' people: I don't give a monkey's about either. I use my channel to document my own, personal musical journey. I detest the whole dancing monkey youtube thing, where many good musicians with no self esteem are fine with being put down by people with a fake name and no videos of their playing, because their playing sucks.

After all, no one who is proud of playing a musical instrument well, would have reason to hide behind a fake name/empty channel, and go around putting down other musicians who aren't nearly as mediocre as they are.

Anonymity will never hide mediocrity: to the contrary, in these cases, it always exposes it.

I don't say I am a genius, but I didn't settle for mediocrity, which makes a big difference. Besides, the only musical geniuses have only been the Bachs, the Beethovens, the Chopins, etc. This is well known to those of us who have learned music history.

And one way to not be mediocre, is to learn.
