About Shadiyah Dances

Shadiyah is a full time Middle Eastern, Persian & South Asian Bollywood/Filmi dance artist.

Engaged in dance and music since childhood with a foundation in several western disciplines, Shadiyah is passionate about her study of the dances and cultures of the Middle East, Central Asia & South Asia. She honors and respects traditional forms while developing individual expression that illuminates the eternal spirit of dance & music with respect, integrity and dignity. Shadiyah has been described as dynamic, graceful & joyous, with her passionate & elegant entertainment showcasing her musicality creating enchanting memories for audiences of all ages.
Shadiyah is honored to have performed at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, Black Rock Center for the Arts, & various events in the US. She appears weekly on Persian HaHa tv, has been featured on Image-In-Asian tv, PM Arlington with Rich Massabny, Washingtonian Magazine and profiled in DC's premiere Desi cultural magazine, Washington Masala.
