Greetings, and welcome to the Wiccan Initiative! The Wiccan Initiative furthers the teachings of the Lord and Lady, which they have entrusted to their most loyal Priests and Priestesses. The Initiative is meant to ensure that the old traditions are maintained, largely unfettered by today's eclectic practitioners; by saying that, I am not at all invalidating the way in which solitary, or other eclectic practitioners wish to show their love and devotion to the Lord and Lady - I do, however, want to keep the record straight in that the solitary approach does not necessarily reflect the Priesthood's traditional practices.
