2 Thessalonians 2:1-5 Paul said the antichrist will enter the Jewish Temple and claim he is God and a falling away of the saints will occur before the return of Jesus for His saints. After the lawless one enters the Jewish Temple he will order everyone in the world killed who refuse to worship him as God.

This is why Jesus told all in Jerusalem to flee to the mountains of Judea when they see the abomination of desolation, spoken by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place. Matthew 24:15-16, Mark 13:14-15, Luke 21:20-21

Jesus said He returns for His saints after the tribulation, not before it starts.
