My (current) attitude in a nutshell: Amateur philosophy is dope & also mostly horrifically stupid & and a helluva lot of fun if complementing permaculture gardening and caring for people around us. Pay-for profit-driven professional philosophy is crud & also mostly horrifically stupid & also a lot of fun & also a lot of idle indulgence which should be scorned. But among the dust-heap of ideas are gems to be found. Spirituality is widely misunderstood (it's about simple justice, compassion, love and humility, not ghosts, spirits and spooky quantum entanglement). If the world goes deeper into neoliberal or neo-feudal hell I reserve the right to be non-ironically even more optimistic (Crisis & Victory dynamics.)
