About Garland Remington III

Retired from 2 careers. My 1st career I was a United States Merchant Marine Officer. Graduated from Kings Point. US Merchant Marine Academy. Class of 78. After 20 years I took what is called in the Maritime trades “Early Out.” Pretty good retirement pension that kicks in at 65. I didn’t do anything for work for awhile. Simply because I didn’t want to work for awhile and I didn’t. Ha!


Then 2002 I went to work in the Offshore Oil&gas Industry In The Gulf. In the HSE Dept. Stayed with it for right about 4 years then I switched over to the land side. Staying in HSE Management. Over the years I have held permanent positions in HSE from Field HSE Manager to GM to Division Manager. Up until the Big down turn. That started 3 and a half years ago. Much I could say but the greatest thing is Jesus saved me recently and I have never been happier!! Well Glory!!!!
