Rig:

The Workhorse: 2008 QingDao (China) Epiphone Les Paul standard, unmodified(!). Cost $350 CAD used with an amp. :-)

Strat-á-Various: mixed breed mutt with 1969 neck and 1974 body; No original parts of anything except the '74 middle pickup; neck pickup is original but over-wound to unknown specs, middle pickup original, bridge pickup absolute screamer 16.8kohm JB signature pickup by Seymour Duncan. Open that thing up all the way and have fun.

Future WTF is That: currently working on 2nd iteration Strat-type using Floyd Rose bridge. Stuck on finish color.

DAW: Logic Pro X. Works great even as a live performance app.

Stack models typically go into this form:
1 Clean channel always - compression, eq and nothing else
1 Dirty effects channel - all other effects including loops (many effects are stacked, as in 2 compressors, 2 EQs, 2 reverbs, etc..
1 Step-up "Hot" drive for solos
Fender amps & tweeds modeled for clean channel
Marshalls & stacks modeled for dirty channel
