About Stewart Forbes
I’m a professional jazz saxophonist of 35+ years standing. I’ve worked with Billy May, Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, Randy Crawford, James Moody, George Shearing & Clark Terry plus many many more. I’m a founder member of the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra and a regular ‘deputy’ with the BBC Big Band.
Alto saxophone is my main voice but I also play flutes/clarinets and tenor, soprano & baritone saxophones. Education is vitally important to me also; I’ve lead my own Jazz Workshop Series as well as working within Local Education Authorities. I teach privately also . . .
