🐾 It's been a little while since I've made a remix of "Happy Birthday" for my birthday. The last one I made was in 2019 I think. I never really intended on making a remix for each year, just whenever I feel like I have the time and energy to do something "special" for my birthday. And, if it's also you're birthday today, then Happy Birthday!
🐾 This remix was an interesting one. It's certainly no surprise to anyone familiar with the usual "Happy Birthday" melody that it can sound rather melancholy for what's supposed to be a joyous occasion. My previous attempts at remixing this song kinda followed the same line of melancholy, not really bringing much excitement to the occasion or the song. This go around, since I have been very depressed lately, I decided to try and fight that this birthday and make something that might cheer me up. One of the top genres, I feel, that does a great job at uplifting and hyping up a crowd to get them up and moving -- jumpstyle! I don't think I have ever attempted to make jumpstyle before this. For my first time at it, I don't think it turned out all that bad.
