A ~1.5 hour long action-adventure game with emphasis on story and dialogue.


The Legend of Quintavius is a story about a wizard tasked with a journey to the mountain dungeon to vanquish its overlord Theroth. Lead a party of brave warriors and adventurers on a quest across the north, battling legions of monsters and discovering secrets untold.


SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: 4 GB RAM


This game requires a minimum of 4 GB of available memory to load. You can open Settings on your device and search for "Memory" to see how much you have.

How to Play


Controls

  • WASD/Arrow keys = Move/Select
  • Enter/Space = Confirm/Dialogue
  • K/Z = Attack
  • L/X = Heal
  • H = Swap ring's hand
  • Esc/P = Pause
  • Back = Exit


When the magic ring is worn on the left hand, Quintavius' fire magic is boosted and fireballs pierce up to 5 enemies. When worn on the right hand, his light magic is boosted and he heals slowly over time, more slowly the less sunlight there is.


You can also navigate menus and continue dialogue with the mouse.

Whenever you see this icon, your current save point is set. All save points are unlocked by default, and you can go to any of them at any time from the Settings menu, but your current score will be set to 0 if you go back a save point.

Known bugs


  • If the game is paused with no sounds playing for long enough, there will be a delay before sounds start playing again
  • Pausing the game while the camera is moving at an increasing or decreasing speed (as opposed to a fixed speed) can sometimes cause it to resume moving too quickly when the game is unpaused
  • The difficulty scaling to reduce boss' health doesn't apply to their health bars correctly, so when they take damage for the first time, they appear to take a lot of damage
  • Setting vfx to cutscenes only doesn't remove the flame and glow effect on Quintavius' staff during the dragon battle
  • Difficulty scaling for Theroth's health isn't working
  • Quintavius can walk over a column in the dungeon after defeating Greul, or over the throne after defeating Theroth, breaking perspective
  • Secret dialogue can sometimes remove the letters that already exist in normal dialogue
